Multi-talented, creative, compassionate

and driven, are a few qualities that describe Keidre T. Harris.  She is a Christian speaker, visionary leader, entrepreneur, and ministry strategist whose work bridges faith, community development, and organizational excellence.

Growing up as a preacher’s kid, Keidre actively participated in church and later began serving in ministry under the leadership of her mother, Reverend Cynthia H. Harris, during her pastoral appointments in the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME) at Greater Allen Temple in Jackson, Mississippi, and later at St. Mary in Shreveport, Louisiana. These early and continued ministry experiences ignited a lifelong commitment to serving others and empowering the next generation. She also served on the campaign staff of the former President and Publisher of the AME Publishing House during the 2000 General Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio.

From a community standpoint, Keidre served as Executive Director of the Northwest Louisiana Community Development Corporation, where she led initiatives designed to strengthen and uplift the local community through strategic programming and development.  Her leadership in ministry later expanded through several leadership roles at Praise Temple in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she managed numerous organizational initiatives, conferences, and campaigns while overseeing affiliated ministry entities and serving as project manager for an extensive sanctuary renovation.

In 2013, Keidre founded Girl Power Chat, a faith-driven empowerment ministry and movement created to inspire women to pursue purpose and embrace their God given potential. Guided by the mantra “She Believed. She Dreamed. She Soared.”, the ministry continues to impact women who describe the experience as transformative and life-affirming. For Keidre, Girl Power Chat is a ministry assignment.

In 2026, she takes that mission even further with The Daily Chat Journal, her debut as an author and a natural extension of the Girl Power Chat ministry. Designed to inspire intentional living, daily reflection, and personal growth, the journal encourages women to rise, shine, and soar one page at a time without losing their spark.

Cultivating the leader within her, Keidre earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the renowned Jackson State University and later received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Governors University, equipping her to lead with both vision and strategy.

A woman of faith and purpose, Keidre is committed to empowering women to uncover the power within and boldly walk in the calling God has placed on their lives.

Keidre serves as a WGU Ambassador and is a member of the American Management Association (AMA), NCNW, National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), and Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
